MARK BRUNNER
Husband / Father / Camp Director
Home School Teacher | Volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT
Purpose Statement: My goal is to glorify God through my actions, words and my desire to work with children and their families. I also want to fulfill God's great commission by using my God given ability to serve His perfect will and to try to follow the examples set forth by my personal savior, Jesus Christ.
KIMBERLY BRUNNER
Wife / Mother / Home School Teacher

Purpose Statement: My desire is to serve the Lord with joy and to impact people's lives by demonstrating as much of a reflection of Christ's love as is humanly possible. I feel privileged to play a part in the leadership and management of Upon The Rock Christian Camp. It is a blessing that God has given my husband and I a mutual vision of helping people know God and His principles.
JEFF WEICHMAN

Home Inspection Business
Purpose Statement: My goal is to be conformed daily to the image of Jesus Christ. I desire to have eyes that see the abilities in people that are valuable but not recognized by our culture as valuable. Then be able to show individuals as well as those around us the values of these unrecognized abilities. My hope is that I can meet these goals without trying to glorify myself, or those around me but only the God of the Holy Scriptures.
DONNA WEICHMAN
Wife / Mother / Physical Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling
Purpose Statement: To use the skills and knowledge I have been given through education, life experience and learning about God, to affect others (including future generations.) The end purpose of this goal is the worship of God.
JIM BLANK

Purpose Statement: As a born again Christian I enjoy the grace and love of a personal Savior. I also have the responsibility to live in such a way as to glorify God and show the lost, the love God has for them. Part of this relationship includes a life of ministry to Christ, fulfilled in service to others. The most powerful impact I can make on the lost is when I combine a Godly life with a loving witness.
DONNA BLANK

Purpose Statement: As a born again believer, I believe my objective in life is to glorify God in all that I say and do. Although that is impossible in myself, with God's help I try to be the best wife, mother and Christian that I can. I believe that the best and most significant impact I have is on my family. Thus, God's purpose for my life is fulfilled in serving them.
MARK BRUNNER
Both a Founder and Co-Director of Upon The Rock Christian Camp, Mark is known as "Big Mark" to our campers and Staff. He enjoys learning more about the Bible, model trains, and any sort of machine that he can take apart and then put back together.
Favorite Food: Sprinkled Donuts

KIM BRUNNER
Both a Founder and Co-Director of Upon The Rock Christian Camp, Mrs. Kim has loved camping ever since she was young. She loves to play games (very competitively) and explore the beautiful nature around her hometown of La Veta.

GRACE BRUNNER
Raised in the heart of Upon The Rock, Grace has been doing camp since the womb. (Literally.) She serves in many different areas, but can usually be found in the Camp Office replying to emails, snacking, and spinning too fast in her office chair.

TINA ROBBE
A longtime camper, and Full-Time Staff Member, Tina has served as Big Mark's right-hand for many, many years, and continues to dedicate her time to the ministry. All of our campers and Staff know that if they ever need something at camp, all they have to do is ask Tina!
Favorite Dog: Her dog Lucy (Sorry Squirt)

Recently graduated from The Master's University in California, Faith is ready to get to work. She's a small engine anti-specialist. If you deem to fix it, she can surely try to break it. She also loves eating bagels and leaving crumbs all over.

Ethan Allen
Known as the brains of the operation, Ethan has been coming to camp since the good old days. He now spends his time shredding pow on his snowboard, climbing, and growing a beard. (That takes a lot of work, okay.) He's also looking for a new car. Thanks a lot, Shane.
Fun Fact: Ethan once lost our best saw in the bushes at Work Camp.
Eli Andersen
Eli has been coming to camp ever since he was small...which tells you something, since he's now the opposite of small. Eli likes to help others achieve their fitness goals, climb, ski, and eat a lot of food. Seriously. We don't know how he does it.

Jackson Minyard
It's official - there's no getting rid of him and we couldn't be more excited! Transitioning from Wintern to Full Time Staff, Jackson continues to serve the Lord and prove that even Californians can get adjusted to a snowy winter.

When he’s not getting other people at camp sick, Ethan is contributing by giving his love for the Lord, a surprisingly stiff salute, and a laugh that makes flowers grow.

Katie Rohr
Katie is a longtime friend of
Upon The Rock and has served faithfully for many years. She loves dogs, reading, and camp! Don’t ask her about her cousin Brady. I mean, you can. But the lore is almost too much.

The only thing longer than Claire’s last name is how long she’s been with Upon The Rock! She loves sharing the good news of Jesus and taking fabulous pictures that make us all look better
