We are currently raising funds to pay for the next essential step in the process, which is to develop and present the Master Plan. A Master Plan includes architecual blueprints for utilities, road development, structure construction/placement, facility capacity and other details that will be implemented with a purpose over the next twenty years.

We believe that God created and matured the location that He provided for Upon the Rock Christian Camp. We have been given a clean slate where little human intervention has marred His creation and our desire is to be good stewards of what He blessed us with.

In order to accomplish this desire effectively, we need to look at the camp's mission, present and future programming/ministry goals, the layout of the land, and environmental issues which will all be incorporated into a long term building and land usage plan.

This information will then be presented to the county with the intent of receiving approval for the building and usage permits. It will also serve as a working document to guide the overall planning, building and site development, which can be broken down into feasible phases. This plan can also be presented to potential supporters and grant reviewers as a solid visual of the vision God has given us.

Because there are so many elements involved in developing and presenting a Master Plan, we feel it is important to work closely with a professional development firm so that we can benefit from their expertise and experience. We've spoken with a company called Fleetmeyer & Lee who specialize in designing Master Plans for camps, and we recieved a quote of $40,000 for their professional help from start to finish. A more feasible breakdown of this need is $50 from each family or individual on our mailing list. $27,600.000 have already been contributed and we want to give you an opportunity to be part of this important step forward
