Silent Auction Banquet 2010

We are still solidifying the date and location for the event.  We will update this section as soon as we know this information.  In the meantime, you can be thinking about a unique item to donate for this important fundraiser.  Some of the items that went well last year included gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates, sporting event tickets, handmade quilts, lap blankets, tools, toys, handmade scarves, baked goods, service related certificates, and anything that was interesting and different.  Let us know when you decide what you would like to contribute so we can get a list going.

Silent Auction Banquet 2009

The theme for the 2009 banquet was “The Promises of God…in Action,” and what a joy it was to share all that God has accomplished in and through the ministry of Upon The Rock over the past 12 months.

Not only did we celebrate God’s past accomplishments, we also looked to the future as we prepare to build the first permanent structure on the property. The Capital Campaign for this project was presented, everyone was served a delicious meal, the kids enjoyed science experiments and games with a Christian flair and lots of fellowshipping took place. This event raised $19, 000 to be used for scholarships, infrastructure, the Cornerstone Lodge and general operations. God continues to be gracious and faithful to provide what is necessary to keep things moving forward.
